Specific objective
A comprehensive and preventative approach alternative with a Christ-centric focus.

This program was created in 2005 as a specific and specialized response to teenagers, men and women, 13 and older, in high social risk conditions, by the confluence of several factors:

  •  Dysfunctional families.
  •  Significant economic survival gaps in areas such as the food, clothing, footwear and health.
  •  Educational level: dropout, repetition, overage, and / or economic difficulties to sustain them in the system
  •  Adverse, violent and pathological community environment
  •  Strong social pressure induced to the negative.
  •  High proportion of migrant population.

Teenagers and young people come from communities of the Greater Metropolitan Area (San José, Cartago, Alajuela, Heredia) and the Caribbean (Pococí).

As the program is comprehensive, the range of activities varies widely; looking to raise the quality of life, not only for themselves but also for their families; and to give them the tools for a stable and dignified life.

In this program the maintenance of a system of grants is important to enable young people to be able to achieve different goals.
